Exercise Variations for Novices

Hello BBM team,
first time posting in the big forum.

Anyways, after listening to the last podcast (with Jordan and Mike) there was an interesting discussion regarding the introduction of Exercise variations to novice lifters. I fall into this demographic, so I was curious what are beneficial variations and how one would be able to properly introduce them into their programming (especially someone who is just learning the large world of strength training)?

Currently, I am following the SS NLP (end of week 4) and actually purchased the app to help me learn the program. I like how easy it is, but it felt very rigid. The Big 4 are great and I am seeing progress, but after that discussion, it clicked that to look long term, maybe it would be better to introduce some variations sooner (rather than later)?

Yea I haven’t fully fleshed out my thoughts on this into a practical form for the general population so I would recommend continuing on as you are currently.
