Flat back vs round back deadlift

I heard some lifters talk about flat back being safer long term than round back deadlift (minimal flexion) brought up stuart mc gill spine expert studies/researches to back it up. So what i got from that is round back is dangerous long term is this anecdotal evidence or actually true?

This is what we think of that claim:

To be honest, the overwhelming majority of people in this space - professional or not- have no idea what they’re talking about. One way to show this is to ask what McGill studies they’re referring to specifically and what they showed that supports that claim. They will either lie (likely) or be unable to answer the story, because they would’ve never made such a claim if they were familiar with the “studies”. Embarrassing for them really.
