Fortified Foods

I know BBM generally regards vitamin supplements as unnecessary if not medically deficient, and that they don’t typically result in the same health benefits as getting them from real sources. What about fortified foods?

Right now I’m buying fortified milk that has calcium, vitamin d as well as nearly twice the protein of my old brand. Is this beneficial or just a scam?

At a population level, fortified foods are very beneficial at preventing nutrient deficiencies and their clinical sequelae.
