GS&C Question

Hey, Docs. I’m about to start the revised General Strength and Conditioning Template and I noticed the inclusion of EMOM work in the first block. I see that it’s a percentage-determined load based on an e1RM. My question is: Are we basing each week’s percentage on the e1RM established in week one and no other proceeding week? I can project that with the ratcheting up of intensity every week, our e1RM will change based on that planned output. Are we purely using the week one e1RM to determine the weight on the bar throughout the block? Thanks, guys!

I would stick with the same e1RM in this context and, if anything, err towards a more conservative e1RM to be used week-to-week.
