I hope this isn’t seen as a silly question and a waste of time. I am thinking of buying a this duffel bag here Duluth Pack: Zippered Round Duffel. Under the youtube link on the page it says " This product can expose you to a chemical(s) such as Hexavalent chromium (chromium6), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer."
I already have a worn canvas bag from a brand named Jeff banks and I plan to buy this from a UK retailer, which doesn’t shows. I tried to do my own research (google) and I what I gather is that this chemical formulates during welding and leather making. Honestly it the information goes over my head Is owning a canvas duffel bag a wise thing and is it risky? Can it cause cancer? Again I couldn’t get a clear answer from my google searches.
