High ALT = Avoid Liquid Protein?

I went for my yearly checkup last week and turns out I had elevated ALT (77). My doctor recommended I get a liver ultrasound just in case of liver disease. I haven’t really had other symptoms besides some abdominal pain when consuming food sometimes. My AST measured 38, and I hadn’t worked out or taken preworkout, protein, or creatine in almost 2 months.

Im getting to go back to the gym starting this week, but want to play it safe by not taking pre/protein/creatine until I get that ultrasound (Friday morning). Does this seem like a good idea or should I be safe to take them?

Dietary protein and creatine monnohydrate do not cause liver injury, so unless your supplements are contaminated with other things, they are unlikely to be related to this lab finding.
