High Bar Back Squat

Anyone have a good reference for HBBS bar placement and technique? Been squatting low bar forever and now trying HBBS as required by the templates.

Are you certain you’re actually doing a HBBS? there is only a few inches of difference in bar placement, but it’s definitely enough to pull your chest forward. if you have perfect bar positioning before the rep but are still having trouble keeping your chest up it’s probably a mobility issue. google “again faster fixing an immature squat”. Also make sure you take a deep inhale and fill your lungs before you drop. press your core out and back and keep your chest absolutely rigid. you need a tight and solid foundation to drop down on.
