Higher heart rate for hours after strength training

My pulse is usually elevated for a few hours after strength training. It typically goes into the mid to upper 70s rather than my usual baseline in the low 60s. I also sometimes get a bit dizzy and lightheaded, which Dr Baraki once suggested could be ameliorated by drinking more fluids (as well as tensing to to increase BP). Could the higher pulse be related to this (although the increased fluids and tensing I’ve tried do not seem to help with HR)? The increased HR doesn’t otherwise produce any symptoms.

Is this something to be concerned about?

I would not consider a heart rate in the 70s compared with the 60s to be elevated, worth monitoring, or a problem to worry about.
