Got sick for 3 weeks, during this period I lost 9 pounds, worst, most of it was lean mass. How fast should I aim(should I go for dirty fast bulk or slow?) to gain weight in this situation, how muscle memory will work if I go for a slow bulking? Thanks!
Eh, I think it is FAR more likely that you mostly lost water and stored glycogen vs actual skeletal muscle protein.
I would almost never recommend a dirty, fast, bulk- and in this case, “That’s gonna be a no from me, dawg.”
I would recommend eating approximately the same amount of calories you were prior to illness and the weight will restore itself. As far as if you should gain more weight after that, I can’t be sure based on what you’ve said so far.
