How long should a set of Heavy Fives take to complete?

I think I am nearing the end of my SSLP and I see that some Sets take quite a lot of time to complete.
For example: Squat, Set of Five (PR) ~45 seconds & Deadlift. Set of Five (PR) ~ 90 seconds (but generally up to now ~60 seconds).

They are not what I would call grinders (though they are though) as bar speed is decent. I rest between 3 and 10 minutes from one working set to another, so I do not think that is the issue. I start a new set when I feel that I am ready.

Bech and Press only take me ~20 seconds to complete a similar Set of Five, and Rows only ~10 seconds (also PRs on the LP)

Is this something normal? I reset after every rep while not letting go of the bar on any of the lifts so I get tight and ready. I keep seeing people with 5 Fives on these lifts that take only half the time (or less) to complete the set than me.

//I have searched for similar questions on the forum but was unable to find any. Apologies if this is redundant and has been answered before.

I think if you are resting >4-5 minutes between sets you’re resting too long. I also think if you’re taking more than 2-3 seconds between reps, you’re taking too long. I suspect your 5RM deadlift looks more like 5 singles instead of a cohesive set of 5.

None of these things are wrong per se’, they just change the training effects you’re getting and I don’t think they (the training effects) are ones you’re really after.

I am borderline anemic and I have low Iron deposits, but I am taking medication and eating to remedy it for the last few months now. Hopefully, the bloodwork will come better next month.
I am not sure if this has an effect on these larger moves, but I will try to improve on the time between reps and sets, instead of increasing the weight all the time.
I am also doing the GPP day from the Bridge 1.0 on Saturday to increase my tolerance to exercise. It’s tough right now, but it will most likely pay off in the end.

Thanks for the answer, doc.
I really appreciate it.
