Imbalance caused by alternate grip?

I know you guys say the human body isn’t perfectly symmetrical and all that but I have heard many people tell me that they have very noticeable muscle imbalances especially in their traps presumably caused by years of alternate gripping their deadlifts. Can you guys confidently say that it’s fine to deadlift heavy with the same alternating grip for a long period of time without having to worry about that kind of stuff?

I’ve made the experience that it influences my benchpress, because of traps and shoulder/ellbow “disbalance”. I think it wasn’t a real disbalance, more kind of a weird feeling in those joints/muscles and because of that I couldn’t stay tight the last inch before i touched my chest. I switched to hook grip and everything is feeling great, except my thumb-skin…

Yes, it’s fine to deadlift heavy with the same alternating grip for a long period of time without having to worry about that kind of stuff.
