Two days a week I do light cardio before strength training, with just breakfast. Today I did a experiment and during the light cardio I was sipping maltodextrin, the result was PR in all lifts. Was a coincidence or I should do it everytime and add to macros?
I would not do cardio prior to strength training unless you’re an endurance athlete. I do think that many folks do better when training with more fuel on board prior to training. Nevertheless, I wouldn’t recommend putting a bandaid on doing cardio prior to strength training.
