Hello BBM!
I just got my blood work and I am concerned about my low LDL.
Numbers:
Total Cholesterol: 131 mg% Normal: 150-200
Slightly Elevated: 200-240
Kids: < 150
Triglycerides: 81 mgr% Normal: 50-150
HDL Cholesterol: 47 mg% Normal: > 35
LDL Cholesterol: 68 mg% < 116 to people with low danger
< 100 to people with medium danger
< 70 to people with high danger
< 55 to people with very high danger
I’d like some insight to this situation. Thanks !
Your LDL isn’t low at all. Carry on.
The first thing I thought was, the lower the better. But when it said about risk, I got a bit concerned.
But if you say it’s good, I’m good too!
Just a thought, what would be considered very low and, what would that mean about health?

There is no specific number that would be considered “too low”. I agree with Jordan that there is nothing to be concerned with in your lipid panel.
It is possible for certain health conditions to cause LDL to be lower than it otherwise would, but that is a more complex discussion.

Alright, I understand. Nothing to worry about.
Another thing to ask, I went for blood donation today. Can I train?
