So I have been doing the LP for the past 7 weeks and my squats have been going up perfectly, I started at 50kg and my last workout was 105kg and felt pretty much the same as every other workout which is great. However, I have hit snags on every other lift and my presses suck balls. Deadlifts have failed twice (although I think a lot of this was down to bad workout days from stressful days as the last time I got the lift no problem the next workout and last night I could only do 3 reps so I may well get it next workout). My press is continuously getting stuck. Now I know that presses do stall quickly but I first got stuck on 37.5kg and then again last night on 42.5kg… that’s not heavy. Same as bench, It’s only at 62.5kg starting from a very conservative 40kg.

what should I do with the presses? would it be worth upping them to 5x5? It is worth noting that I have the smallest upper body you’ve probably ever seen on someone my height and the longest arms too so I’m aware I’m probably not going to be setting any world records in the presses anytime soon but would like to get them up to a moderately respectable weight before I have to move on to intermediate stuff.
