So I’m hoping someone can help me get a better understanding of pain mechanisms in the setting of subacute and chronic pain. I had a little r side low back tweak a few months ago at this point during a deadlift. Anything I strained since then should have been healed. I’m not afraid of what the pain represents, I’m not catastrophizing, I’m doing my tempo high rep deadlifts like a good boy, but my back still hurts anytime I lift anything over 405. What mechanism can explain this phenomenon. Shouldn’t I be healed up at this point 4 months out?
