Just wondering what resources the clinicians in the forum recommend for patients when suggesting a physiotherapy program. Clearly an individualized program and working with a (good) coach/ therapist is ideal, but what about when these are not possible. Pain science is pretty good. Any other recommendations?
Is this in relation to any particular diagnosis? It is often contingent upon the patient’s understanding of their current condition and what are their goals.
I’m just talking about general resources. For a motivated client with no significant comorbities. I could always send them to the BBM resources but not everyone is open to barbells right off the bat.
For tendinopathy issues I typically refer people to Jason Eure’s pieces on Stronger By Science:

Sam Spinelli’s piece on same site regarding lumbar flexion:

Then Mike and I have some resources available on our prior blog at The Logic Of Rehab: https://thelogicofrehab.com/
Hello. I’ve been dealing with chronic lower back pain for a few years and am considering physiotherapy as a treatment option. I’ve tried various medications and exercises, but nothing has provided long-term relief. I’m curious if anyone here has experience with physiotherapy for this issue. How effective was it for you, and how long did it take to notice improvements? Also, are there specific exercises or techniques that worked best? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!
