Pin Squats

Hello,

Currently in week 5 of The Bridge. I just completed the pin squats. First time I have done these. I tried to set up the safeties an inch below parallel but it seemed the closest below parallel was 2-3" and my low back would significantly round. I ended up going up to the next notch which was probably 1-2" above parallel. Am I wasting my time doing these above parallel? Should I be doing something else instead?

Pin squats are interesting in that you can alter your depth by how far you push your knees forward so I would go back to the pin position where you’d be just below parallel and try and get your knees forward enough to be slightly below parallel.
