I’m about to finish up Hypertrophy I and want to do a pivot block before doing Strength I. How long do pivot blocks usually last? 1 week? 1 month?
From what I’ve read here and on Jordan’s Instagram, it sounds like Pivot blocks should utilize some variations on the lifts. Any other general principles? Should I keep the RPE in a certain range that is generally lower (i.e. a “deload”) like 6-7?
Since I’ll be coming off of Hypertrophy, I was going to decrease the volume to 4-6 reps for each of the lifts for the pivot. Is that recommended?
