I’m not sure if this is entirely appropriate or if it would be for the medical section in the forums but I figured I might as well give it a shot.
23 y/o male, 175cm in height, that over the course of the last 2(ish) years have dropped from 215 lbs down to about 160 lbs. I’m starting to notice some loose skin, especially around my waist area that is frankly quite discouraging. I’ve tried looking it up with mixed results all over the internet and thought I could come here to hopefully receive somewhat of a realistic answer. I know at 24 there’s a higher likelihood of it adjusting, as well as the fact that it wasn’t an extreme amount of weight (e.g., 100+ lbs) that left me with considerable excess skin. It is just a little hanging over. I also wanted to see if I could possibly expect any difference if I went into a bulk after being at a stable weight for a few weeks or months. I would like to gain some muscle mass and was wondering if that would affect (either positively or negatively) the situation I’m asking about.
