Pre workout tolerance??

I was wondering what is your suggestion for pre workout tolerance build up? For example I previously had to use 1 scoop of pre workout to get “energy” and now i have to use 1.5 scoops to get the same effect. Do you cycle off of it for a couple weeks then resume or is this more of a psychosomatic thing and not really tolerance.

Does your preworkout have caffeine in it? You can get a tolerance to the caffeine just like you would to coffee. GainzZz Rx doesn’t have caffeine in it because each person’s effective caffeine dose is different. I think it’s recommended to take two scoops of GainzZz Rx per day every day.

If you’re getting tolerance to caffeine, that makes sense and you’re likely talking about the difference of 100mg of caffeine or less- so that makes sense. The placebo effect and it’s psychological impact cannot be discounted, certainly.

That said, it kind of sounds like your pre-workout is junk to be honest. I’d recommend something like GainzZz Rx or similar.
