Both scoops of GainzZz Rx at once

Thank you for the great seminar in Sacramento! Besides the potential risk of my biceps exploding, what would be the negative effects of taking both scoops of GainzZz Rx pre workout compared to one preworkout and one postworkout? This would fit my shedule better.

Absorption and utility of the contents would be compromised if taking both at the same time.

I would take 1 during warm ups and 1 while re racking weights.

I donā€™t know the supplement very well, but couldnā€™t you just mix both scoops in a bottle and drink half before and half after working out?

To tag along on this thread Iā€™ve had a few questions about using Gainzzz RX.

  1. What causes the needed timing of pre and post workout? Is it primarily the BCAA and sodium components?
  2. Is it also for a desired consistent intake of BCAA throughout the day? IE it is unlikely that I have had BCAA intake from a food source within 1-2 hours prior to exertion.
  3. How does a BCAA additive interact with meal based protein sources, is it pointless to drink BCAA while eating a high protein meal?
  4. Am I correct in stating that there is more evidence substantiating the benefits of Beta anhydrous then there is for beta alanine?
  5. Isnā€™t pure L-citrulline a better source the Citrulline-malitate 2:1? Is the substitute used primarily as a cost reduction?

Thank you for your time, having a source to wade through the bro-science and simplify the dense text of scientific studies is extremely valuable!

  1. Depends what you mean by ā€œpre and post workoutā€. If youā€™re talking about a meal, it should be ~90-120 min before hand and then 3-5 hours after that for the next meal. If doing a supplement like GainzZz Rx, I recommend taking it directly before and after training.
  2. Outside of having BCAAs in your protein rich meals, no. If youā€™re not having protein rich meals regularly, Iā€™m not sure what to tell you.

  5. No. It is not possible to get L-citrulline free form in a supplement that can be distributed and the evidence in the ex-sci literature is on citrulline malate, not L citrulline.

Also maybe a dumb tagalong, but I frequently train right before dinner. If I eat within 30 min of ending my workout and take 2.5g creatine, is the post-workout GainzZz Rx pointless? Just trying to make it last longer, you know?

Not necessarily pointless, as there are other beneficial compounds within it besides just BCAAs and creatine.

Could you also mix both scoops in a bottle and consume it gradually throughout your workout (60-90 mins)? Or does it have to be in 2 discreet doses?

2 discreet doses. I wouldnā€™t consume it during the workout however.
