Pressing and Benching on consecutive days

I am increasing my pressing frequency to improve my lousy press. This will require me to either bench the day after pressing or press the day after benching to fit things into my schedule. If I want to prioritize my pressing performance, which is preferable?

I’m not sure what your overall programming is and how that lends itself to pressing progress, but with this question, I would press prior to benching since you have the choice to make. But it’s also not really a concern to train both lifts one day after another, so I could argue that it doesn’t matter. :slight_smile: At all. But it needs a slot.
