Psychological Effects of Working Out

There have been quite a few Psychological studies done regarding the benefits of exercise (lowering stress, aiding anger management), however, most studies point to LISS having the most benefits. I was just wondering, as Medical Doctors and strength sport fans, what are your thoughts / counter arguments?

I’m not sure I understand your question. What are you hoping we will argue against / counter-arguments to what?

Do you think we disagree that LISS provides psychological benefits (no, we do not disagree).

Or do you think we assume that resistance exercise is superior for this? (no, we don’t know that without a large body of direct comparative data, which I have not seen - and if you have, go ahead and cite it).

Exercise, in general, does have these benefits.

There is literature showing both aerobic-type exercise and resistance-type exercise having benefits on various psychological symptoms (including depression and anxiety).
