Question about Powerbuilding 2 GPP cardio

Hi Docs,

I’ve purchased the Powerbuilding II template and plan to start it in about a week after I finish up Strength I. I noticed that GPP cardio works up to LISS and HITT 2x per week each. Is this normal for the 4 day templates or new based on the recent updates that were put out (this is my first 4 day template)? If so how do you recommend splitting up cardio? Is it okay to do both an LISS and HITT session on the same GPP day? Or should I be looking to split up the 4 cardio sessions across 4 separate days/sessions?

Additionally, I was wondering if you could explain the logic of the additional cardio slots? Are there more because a more advanced lifter requires the additional conditioning or is there another reason?

You may do the conditioning on any days you like, but I wouldn’t stack LISS and HIIT on the same day. I’d prefer them to be done separately.

The additional conditioning work is in an effort to get individual’s work capacity up and develop conditioning when maximum strength is not the only priority.
