GPP for Powerbuilding I template

Just purchased the PB1 template and stoked to get started next week but have a question regarding the GPP.

Week 1 shows LISS 2x/week and no HIIT - makes sense, just LISS on two days of the week.

Later in the program, though, it lists LISS 2x/week AND HIIT 2x/week.

That leads to a total of 4 days per week doing cardio? I already do that but just wanted some clarification on what the intention of the program is, as it advertises just 2 days per week of GPP. Would rather follow the program as intended rather than overdo it.

Yes, that’s correct. Should be 4 sessions per week of conditioning in order to meet the current physical activity guidelines. We just work up to it by getting some semblance of an aerobic base built early on.
