I recently watched Alan Thralls video on strapping. For Deadlifting, Jordan said he uses straps for supplementary lifts and back off sets (at least what I heard him say). By back off sets, does this mean every set after 1@8, or 4@9. I.e. I’m on the Bridge 3.0 typical lift is 1@8, 4@9, 80% 3x4… Would I strap at the 80% or the 4@9. My concern with strapping the 4@9 is becoming too reliant on straps, say I don’t have them one day, not being able to do my typical 4@9. I could pull all of my sets reverse without issue (at the moment), but I understand straps help your hands from getting too beat up.
