Returning to Training After Four Week Layoff

Greetings Docs, I’m planning on returning to the gym on Monday after not being in for 4 weeks and I’m looking for some guidance on where to start back, as four weeks seems to be the cutoff to go back to NLP.

Have been training for years, though I’m not nearly as advanced as years of training should put me at. Ran SSLP a few years ago, and since March I’ve run the legacy endurance, legacy hypertrophy, the bridge 3.0, and I was about to start week 7 of the new 12 week olympic program before the layoff. I feel it would be entirely inappropriate to just jump back into the middle of the oly program.

I’m not at home at the moment and don’t have my log, but if memory serves me right my numbers were somewhere in this neighbourhood:

LBBS ~300 lbs
Front squat ~215
DL ~395
Bench ~180s
Press ~125s

Help is much appreciated, thanks.

I would just restart the program you were on from the beginning.

I would just restart the program you were on from the beginning. Jumping back in the middle of a program would be a relatively poor choice IMO.
