Hey, i have 3 herniated discs from a few year old injury, when I reherniated one of them last year foot tingling, calf tightness came along with it but no pain, this symptom has been with me since then while the back pain has subsided, ive tried everything from mckenzie to nerve gliding to mcgill methods with not much sucess in getting rid of the leg stuff. I spent the summer playing flag football so I know my back is pretty resilient but if I inflame the sciatic nerve it can get pretty sucky.
Just recently I started doing light rack pulls 30 lbs plate or less on each side and kettlebell box squats, The deadlifts dont give me back pain and actually making me feel stronger however the next day i Feel like my leg and range is stiffend on my sciatic leg, When i test a floss to see the range of my nerve, my range of motion has drastically decrease, im in a predicament because the deadlift really seems to help with any back pain symptoms and gives me confident in my back but probably inflames the sciatic nerve when im stetching the hammies on the deadlift.
Has anybody dealt with this and know how to navigate?
