SGFUL weight loss and training log

Hi, Sean here, 35 years young.

Going to hold myself accoutable on here, something i have thought about for years- nothing like public shame to keep you motivated.

Have watched the kg fly on in recent years with a sedentary job working long hours and a love of convenience and beer.

Currently 119.6 kg at 6ft 2.

Aiming over time to get that to 100kg. The usual 0.5 kg /week attainable kind of loss.

Always struggled with being hungry and getting hangry whenever I try to eat less, but have learned only recently that is more related to poor choice of food and can be mitigated with healthier options that do not spike and crash blood sugars.

Also understanding that lifting is not an excuse to eat everything in sight.

Aggressive meal prep seems to be the answer, removing the easy excuse of being tired/stressed and reaching for comfort foods.

Chatgpt is a god for this, ingrdients/cooking instructions even shopping lists for exactly the calorie level required.

Training - lifting has taken a back seat past few months. Will post the return to the gym numbers, which will be embarrassing.

Have learned I cannot abide cardio unless it is basketball related. I find the other options mind numbingly boring. Difficult to quantify the actual level/intensity though other than by time.

Few things to iron out. Will get it done.
