Should I reduce volume?

I am having to climb in and out of my truck a lot, which is really aggravating my medial glute tendinopathy. So I tried just to climb in and out of the truck with just my other leg, but now it feels like I’m starting to develop tendonitis in my right hip flexor. :frowning:

How can I rehab this without quitting my job?

I’ve been alternating front squats with split squats, and I reduced the volume from 15 sets per week to maybe 10 to 12.

I’m doing four sets per workout and working up to top set of RPE 7 - 8. I’m also doing tempo reps to try and manage the load conservatively, with a 3-second concentric and eccentric phase.

Could I still make progress if I just did one lower body session per week?
