Hi,
I have a very long torso and short arms, so I cannot get my hips lower than my shoulders/chest at the start position on the deadlift (ie. My back angle is parallel or worse), unless I put the bar way forward, which I don’t do.
My goal is to deadlift 500lbs (currently around 300lbs 1RM), would my goal be better served by switching to sumo deadlift or does it not really matter?
