Skipping meals

Congrats on opening the forum. I’m looking forward for content of it.

my dilemma:
lets say you have 5 meals on a normal day, around 200 g of protein, 3000 kcal total. This would be ~ 600 kcal per meal

then came busy day at work/ had a night ship and overslept half of the day/ lot’s of stuff to do through day and you skipped a meal or you eat every 5 hours.
and then, at the end of a day you have 4 meals in total and lack of macros.
do you, at your last meal, try to compensate by eating double dose, 1200 kcal instead of 600, or to be extreme 1800 kcal if you skipped two meals( and proteins too)?

i know the best solution is to eat more through rest of your meals, but I am interested at this scenario that I mentioned

Yes, I would make sure my total daily calories and macros add up to my goals for a given 24 hour period.

tnx, one more quesion regarding fiber (I dont want to opet new topic again just for one question)
You said that you dont need to eat “clean” all the time, just to make sure that you eat your 35 grams of fiber a day!
why is that? Is it just for lower risk of mortality for cardiovascular desaeses, diabetes and cancer? (as you mentioned in the video)

That amount of fiber intake is associated with good outcomes, which I mentioned in the video.
