Hi guys,
I’ve noticed that I tend to sleep more lightly / wake up a lot more on days I work out.
I usually work out in the morning, occasionally in the early afternoon, doesn’t seem to make much difference.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Check out podcast episode 93 for our main area of discussion on sleep and recommendations.
I’d also be curious to know about the use of stimulants (caffeine/pre-workout, etc.).
Outside of that, I don’t know that I have specific recommendations for you other than experimentation with your programming approach to see whether anything works better for you.
’ll check out the podcast episode.
I think my caffeine use is moderate. I have 1-2 cups of coffee in the morning, the 1-2 cups of tea around lunch.
Pre-sleep hygiene is pretty good, other than some blue light (computer screen) before bed, intermittently. But sleep hygiene is comparable workout and non-workout days.
I’ll experiment with programming.
Thanks again.
