Split squat form

Hello,

Can I get some feedback on my split squat? I don’t know if this is the right video angle for split squat. I’m repeating the Hypertrophy I template. for a second time.

Thanks for the post. For form checks, I’d direct you to our form check service (Online Form Check - Barbell Medicine) to get in-depth input from our coaches or our FB group.

That said, here’s my input:

  1. Your stance appears to be too narrow side-to-side (e.g. width). I’d widen it a bit to increase stability
  2. Slow down your descent so your knee doesn’t slam into the floor
  3. Keep your trail foot on it’s toe for the duration of the set. You should not be flat footed
  4. Make sure and brace prior to each rep just like you would a squat -Jordan
