Squat Stance Deadlifts?

Hi Coaches.

I apologize for bringing a t-nation article to here but I’d like to know your thoughts on this:

Qute:

Don’t be surprised if you’re able to perform squat-stance deadlifts with much greater frequency and volume than conventional or sumo variations. This is in large part due to the natural mechanics actually being therapeutic. The technique promotes optimal movement while helping to eliminate dysfunction.

This is meaningless bullshit.

^^ Can pretty much be said for all of Joel Seedman’s content.

I’ve been deadlifting sorta like this for a while now, feels like it fits my build really really well and I’ve had zero issues since starting.

That having been said

this is one of the funniest jumbles of meaningless pseudo-mediciney marketing bullshit I’ve ever seen.

Agree on that  But was curious about the stance since it was mimicked by Ed Coan.

The narrower stance sumo is nothing new. Inaba, Inzer, Crain, Bridges and others used it before Coan.
