Standing Mid Back Pain

I have been experiencing some mid back pain in the inferior scapular region. I don’t experience any pain while training or jogging but any types of slow walking or standing still can get pretty painful. Are there any programming considerations I should take to help strengthen or improve posture or could something else be going on?

Hey Shawnbk1 - tough to say what may be ongoing without a consultation to garner more information. With that said, often folks report such symptoms with a particular timeframe of doing a repetitive activity or holding a position *(e.g., walking and standing). Typically we can consider this as a cue to simply change positions or movements when possible or chunking activity. Example: if you notice this experience after 45 minutes of walking then perhaps doing blocks of walking throughout the day in 15 minute increments would be better tolerated.
