Steady state cardio/LISS

Hey there docs, I usually do LISS 2x/week for 35 min. My question is, is the best form of this something like jogging or the elliptical machine/treadmill? I usually did the elliptical at my gym before the pandemic, I currently jog around my neighborhood for 35 min. Would either one of these be the best options? LISS was never very hard on the elliptical, should I increase the resistance if it isn’t very challenging to meet the prescribed 6-7 RPE?

Hey Jake,

Just like there are no special exercises in resistance training, there are no special exercises with conditioning. Either would be fine, with one not necessarily being better than the other.

I would just go faster if the RPE is too low.
