Recently switched to the new Minimed 670g. Equipped with a pump, Humalog, and CGM.

First training session using RPE and failed quite miserably.
Average sugar of the day was 240, stomach issues, etc, etc. Pulled up to gym and almost left.
So, anyways, first day back in two weeks was quite shitty.

All in all, a very light session. Time off, feeling shitty, bad sugars, diarrhea, sun was in my eyes, forgot headphones, insert any other excuse, I’ll take it. For next session will warm up more conservatively, was attempting to use RPE based off old numbers tonight and feel like I took too big of jumps through warm ups.

Body seems to be acclimating to working out again. Paused squats were pretty crazy, legs were on fire through warm-ups, but felt great and challenging. Will be posting form checks of those hopefully later tonight.
Press is still less than desirable, but will continue to trudge on.
With rows, I am accustomed to sets of 8 (think I’ve worked up to 165 3x8) so these sets of 10 were a different beast. I refuse to row less than 135 because reasons, but these were tough. Very, very excited to get some good deadlifts in on Friday. Will start GPP next week, sort of confused on if I should be running GPP on both “off” days T/Tr, or if I can add it on the tail of a workout day M/W/F.

Today’s sessions was a back-to-back. Missed Monday’s session (for being a loser) so had to go T/W to makeup for it. I think it affected the session a little bit, namely in rows and my top OHP. Also, was feeling super fatigued after the pause squats. Will start adding GPP at end of M/F sessions starting 05/03.

Squat 2ct paused - I really wish I had access to a SSB, my shoulders are like bricks after the first day’s workout of squats/benching. I guess I’m actually going to start doing some “mobility work” as the Paul Horn stretch every session since December has only gotten me so far. I invested in some wrist wraps to help with the shoulder tension, hopefully they will help.
