Are there any studies or medical websites I could point someone to that believes dairy is bad for you?
Tons, but smart people who read studies don’t believe milk is bad for them so that’s not how you’re going to solve your problem.
You could show them the Wikipedia page about milk, but I wouldn’t bother, it’s usually an udder waste of time.
There are no studies linked anywhere in either video and nutritionfacts.org is not a scientific website.
Is Wikipedia really a valid place to show things though ? Lol .
And just for reference the question came about because my wife watched the joe Rogan podcast with kelly brogan am M.D that apparently was talking against it and a bunch of other stuff.
I don’t follow the reference to Wikipedia.
I’m not concerned about the validity of what an MD says on the Joe Rogan show as it is not fact checked, peer-reviewed, or held to any ethical standard. I am concerned about the potential public impact this “information” may have on people who get their science from this source, however.
I don’t drink milk because of ethical reasons…not too fond of keeping a cow lactating just for my own person strength gains. Seems like a horrible trade off. Are there any [valuable] substitutes for cow milk?
I’m not sure if that makes sense to me. We pretty much made mass dairy and beef production a thing via thousands of years of genetic engineering and getting milk from a cow that otherwise wouldn’t exist doesn’t seem too morally reprehensible to me.
That said, outside of other dairy products there are no substitutes for milk that have the same amount of protein, carbs, and fats as milk. Still, you’ll be just fine if you don’t drink milk as long as you’re getting your calories elsewhere.
That’s funny, I just came across nutritionfacts.org about an hour ago when I was checking out the list of media sources this site has just reviewed with their updated review format:
I think that tells everything we need to know about nutritionfacts.
Goat milk. Though I can never get past the barnyard odor personally.
right. we engineered an animal to provide us with milk and muscle protein and I don’t agree with it (just my personal thing, not trying to go PETA on everybody). I understand our dominance over the animal kingdom but I try to stay away from using it as much as possible. I’m not against hunted meat out of necessity but domestication for our personal benefit (sports, gluttony, laziness to find other protein sources) is something I think about when deciding what my protein sources should be.
then again, without animal domestication I would likely not have netflix…or indoor plumbing. So I guess we all have to make sacrifices sometimezzz

You can find lot resources on the net and youtube claiming milk is bad but it is very hard for most of the people to believe.
Drinking milk is good habits not bad. But depend on milk quality.
Maybe, other reasons if the doctor suggests for don’t drink it
What? Pls Clarify.
