How much milk is too much?

Long story short, I absolutely love whole milk. I drink it with everything, and probably drink 1/2 to 2/3 of a gallon per day (I buy about 6-8 gallons at a time at the grocery store). I feel fine and don’t really notice any adverse effects from this. Is this bad for me?

What’s your height, weight, and waist circumference?

That said, there’s nothing inherently bad about milk provided you’re meeting the other components of a health-promoting diet, e.g. calories, protein intake, fruit and veg servings, etc.

6’1 - 225 lbs - 37" waist circumference at the widest point

I lift 5-6 days per week (nSuns CAP3 program) and run 20-25 miles per week. I’m actually working towards a 500# squat/5:00 mile goal like Adam Klink did recently.

The rest of my diet is generally in check. I eat a bag of broccoli a day and try to get around 200g protein per day. Whole milk is a convenient way for me to get a lot of the calories/protein/nutrients I need in a tasty package, and over time I’ve gradually drank more and more to the point I’m at now.

It’s hard to navigate the labyrinth of nutritional bullshit online so I figured I’d ask here to get an honest answer about drinking so much milk.

Yea, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with drinking that much milk, though I would prefer a wider dietary pattern if I got to choose.
