I am 26 years old, male, 5’11", 227 lbs with a 40 inch measurement around my bellybutton. I am currently eating around 2890Kcals per day and (I think) nearing the end of my LP with a 314 lbs squat, 225 lbs Bench, 319 lbs Deadlift, and 147 lbs press. As I move into intermediate, I would like to start reducing my waist size, which was over 40 inches before starting LP. Thus I will move to eating 2595Kcals per day in line with the TBAB recommendations. I know I can’t gain muscle whilst losing fat, so would my intermediate training just be trying to maintain my current numbers for my lifts? Or should I expect to regress when on a caloric deficit? As far as programs go, I am looking at either ‘The Bridge 2.0’ or a Texas Method variation.
