//Sorry if this has been asked before.
I am squeezing the last drops of my SSLP for about 2 weeks and I think it’s time to move on after almost 4 months of doing it consistently.
I want to switch over to the bridge but there are so many new movements like Close Grip Bench, Tempo Squat, Rack Pull etc
They are not huge variations from the classics, but they all need to be done at a specific RPE calculated from an estimated 1RM. And I do not know what that 1RM is, as it is also a factor of Skill learning involved.
Did you guys take 1-2 weeks to learn the movements and get better at them before starting to estimate the weights that you need to be using in the actual program? Or what is a good way of going around this? What has worked for you?
I have also done some barbell training before SSLP, but mostly messing around. Now I am at 175kg DL, 132.5kg Sq, 100kg Bench, 112.5 kg Row and 57.5kg Press. All of them for Sets of 5 (confident RPE 9.5-10).
Male, 25, 180cm, 98kg
Thank you for your time!
