No problem! I just had a question regarding getting light headed during the bench press. Recently I have been getting pretty light headed almost to the point of passing out when doing heavy (8rpe<) singles on bench. Doing even heavy sets of 3@9rpe doesn’t seem to do it only singles. I am usually fine for both squats and deadlifts as well, only rarely getting very slightly light headed on those. I have been alternating hypertrophy I and powerlifting II, and have been doing powerlifting centred training for a little over a year now. Do you think there could be something in my setup that is causing this due to the additional pressure on near max intensities or could it be something else?
I’m not sure and if I had to guess, it’s probably related to how long you’re holding your breath.
I tried getting my set up and rep done a little quicker and that seemed to help, thanks for the direction!
