I’m getting ripping headaches after heavy singles, particularly overhead pressing but also sometimes squatting and bench pressing. They come after I rack the weight and pass pretty quickly, but they’re crippling for 10-15 seconds. Things that would typically ease headache pain, like closing my eyes and sitting down or leaning on something, have no effect.
Is this anything I need to worry about? Should I be lowering working weights until this doesn’t happen or suck it up?
