Hello BBM Crew!
I just got the new 12 Week Strength Template and was wondering if there was an alternative to the floor press from weeks 5-8? I am asking as that is not really an option at my current gym (very crammed floor space for DB’s, BB’s, Machine’s, etc.
I’d do a 5cm towel bench, where you roll up a towel and place it under your shirt so the bar touches higher in the ROM than it normally does- like a 2 board bench press.
I’ve used the squat pad my gym has to do a “board” press. Might be a little thin in comparison, but it was a quick fix one week until my slingshot came in.
