Where should I be looking during the lifts?

Hello BBM team and forum members,

I wanted to know if there is a specific place I should be looking while performing a lift? I know to pick a spot and stay focused on it so that may gaze is not wandering during the movement, but does it matter if I am looking down, straight ahead, etc.? Additionally, is there any benefit to “packing” my neck? Or are these questions just time wasted on useless detail? Thanks in advance!

I think these are more about individual preferences than any particular method producing the best result across a population.
