White bread

So on Instagram live you were asked about opinion on white bread. You said that you like it and it is tasty.

I have few questions.

  1. Everyone on the whole world are saying that white bread is not healthy ( I will not go into debate what is healthy and what is not) because of removing the bran and the germ layers from wheat. Are you saying that you could eat white bread and white wheat flour as long as you hit your recommended fiber intake for the day?
  2. Any benefit of taking rye bread (or other whole wheat bread) and flour in fron of white bread? Again, Other that higher fiber content
  3. Do you agree with the statement that most of the foods someone takes should be unprocessed single ingredient food? (By processed I don’t mean cooking and preparing food)

Goran,

  1. Who is saying that? I’m not saying you should eat white bread and then flour separately. You can have white bread if you want.
  2. No
  3. I think that’s a reasonable intervention to improve food quality (and quantity) in a population, sure.
  1. No one specific, It is always staded “many experts reccomend avoiding white bread”

2 and 3. thx

Right, but you have to think for yourself to make up your mind on things you know?

That insulin sensitivity is more nuanced than some charlatans would have you believe.

Gaining a bunch of body fat would make your insulin sensitivity worse

Given that insulin sensitivity is nuanced, like about every other physiological condition, can you list, in order of priority and/or effectiveness, what interventions one should pursue to positively impact insulin sensitivity?

Thank you,

An Insulin Insensitive Chubster
