2nd gen strength 1 question

Hello, I have a couple questions about the new 2nd gen strength I template.

  1. For the fatigued singles: if the prescribed single is at 85% for example, is that 85% of the estimated 1RM for the last working set? Or maybe e1RM of the set @8?

  2. If there is an exercise that says 2 sets of 8-10 @8-9 and 2 sets of 10-15 @8-10 for example, would be a double progression where the same weight is used for all 4 sets? Or is it more like two different progressions back to back using different weights?

Thoughts on this would be appreciated. Currently on week 2 of the 4 day split, loving the upper lower style. Keep up the great content. Thanks

Thanks for the question and welcome back. It’s been a minute. To your questions:

I would use the e1RM off the top set, though most of the e1RMs should be quite similar throughout.

For the double progression, it’ll be different weights for the two different rep schemes. So, yes, technically two double progressions.
