One of my colleagues trains powerlifter, they tried some weird sht: tone of junk stress and they are using percentages(I am not against them, but if you feel terrible maybe it’s time to make some adjustments and not hammering the wall with your head).
He did 3days per week and now his coach decided that they need more stress, they switched to 4(which is good if thinking about long-term), so they are currently doing some Sheiko’s sht:(and he is not a right trainee for this type of stress), he got tolerable pain, but he can lose control during sets.
I am trying to teach my crew how to program and talk them about pain science and about FOAM ROLLING. I told him about BBM forum and now trying to help them, cause as I mentioned earlier they are 8 weeks out before important meet. I got some pics of his “pain, pics where he shows where does it hurt”. The program will be sent to me the day after by his coach.
What do you guys exactly need to know in order to help this lifter?
It’s definitely okay to be concerned about your colleague and want to help him, but it’ll be difficult to provide advice and help him out unless he reaches out himself and wants to be helped. He can either post on the forum here or reach out for a consult and we would be glad to assist. Thanks!
I will tell him
Thanks
