Drs.:
I was diagnosed with Hypertension three years ago and had been prescribed a diuretic (hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg/day) to help manage it. After recent monitoring and seeing the number creep back up over time, my doctor made the decision to add an ACE inhibitor (10mg enalapril) to my daily medication regimen.
I watched your hypertension vlog, which covered lots of my questions/concerns. One thing I dont remember is if you addressed the timing of taking the medication. Normally I take my medication first thing after waking up and then train ~1.5 hours later. Would there be any benefits/impacts into adjusting when I take the medication (either after workout, or at night before bed)?
Thanks!
